Jeanette Vincent’s Relaxed Hiking Holiday Weekends
Daily hikes between 12-17 km a day. Stay as many days as you wish.
EASTER – Thursday April 17 – Monday April 21: The snow should be gone and we will get some “Spring Training” in on the trails. Ed will have a traditional Polish Easter dinner. Arrive on April 17 or 18.
CANADA DAY – Friday June 27 – Wednesday July 2: Celebrate Canada Day weekend as the summer weather greets us and no mosquitoes! A good time to hike the Grand Canyon of PA and the Susquehannock Trail. After a hike, cycle beside the Pine Creek, swim at Lyman Lake or relax on the deck. Arrive June 27 or 28 and stay as many days as you wish.
LABOUR DAY – Thursday August 28 – Monday Sept 1: The great summer weather will greet us as we hike daily the great trails of the Susquehannock State Forest. There is cycling beside the Pine Creek, swimming at Lyman Lake or time to relax on the deck. Arrive Aug 28 or 29.
THANKSGIVING – Thursday Oct 9 – Monday Oct 13: The colors are at their peak and the walking is great. Ed outdoes himself with a full turkey dinner.
NEW YEARS – Sunday Dec 28 – Thursday Jan 1, 2026: We will hike every day, a little shorter than our normal hikes so we can spend a little longer relaxing in front of the fireplace. Time to get ready for the Annual New Year’s Eve Trivial Pursuit game. Ed promises a special New Year’s dinner. Arrive Dec 28 or 29.
Price $US – $90 (shared bath), $95 (private bath, double), $120 (private bath, single) per person a day with breakfast, packed lunch, dinner, and lodging.
